Project objective<\/strong>The In-Transit ComfortHeat project aimed to develop flexible and efficient heating<\/strong> solutions for the transport sector, integrating printed electronics <\/strong>directly into interior surfaces and materials to improve passenger thermal comfort and reduce energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution to the challenge<\/strong>Traditional air conditioning systems in transportation heat large volumes of air, resulting in high energy consumption and slow response times. In-Transit ComfortHeat addressed this challenge by developing ultra-thin, flexible, printed heating elements capable of generating localized heat <\/strong>directly on contact surfaces such as seats or interior panels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Scope<\/strong>The solution was based on the manufacture of printed heaters<\/strong> using printed electronics technologies, integrable into various substrates and compatible with industrial processes.
